Specs: Graphite (C) Nanopowder / Nanoparticles (C, 400nm - 1.2 um, 99.9%, Natural Graphite) US1058 Location: Only to be used inside the fume hood by the silicone station. Only when it is suspended in solution can it be used outside the fume hood.

Masks

Inhaling graphite powder can cause respiratory irritation

Safety Glasses

Graphite powder can cause serious eye irritation. Rinse cautiously for a while if it gets in eyes.

Hair Ties

Tie hair back to prevent powder from getting on hair.

Gloves

Wear gloves when handling the powder, wash hands after handling/p>

Operational Checks

Ensure people aren't around or passing by the silicone station when using the powders

Pick up and arrange disposal without creating dust. Sweep up and shovel. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.
