Things to Avoid

  1. Do not touch the print nozzles when in operation or when cooling down.
  2. Do not print with materials that are not listed or prohibited.

Safety Checks

  1. Ensure residue is not present on the nozzle.
  2. Clean the printbed from adhesive residue.
  3. Verify that your g-code settings match the 3D printer settings.
  4. If the part is not released with casual force, remove the glass printbed and apply water to the glass. Wait for the adhesive to dissolve, then apply force with the scraper.

Operational Checks

  1. Supervise the 3D printer until the first couple of layers have printed.
  2. Label a post-it with the print job time, your name, and an email to reach you at.

Cleanup

  1. Remove the print from the test bed. Label print with a post-it if it does not belong to you.
  2. Clean the testbed if excessive adhesive has built up.
